Should I choose Bosch S4 or S5 for my car?
Start with what the car was built with. If it has no start-stop and a normal equipment level, S4 is enough. Choose S5 for a large engine, a long list of electrical extras, or a car that idles in traffic with the AC running for long periods. Start-stop cars need the EFB or AGM version.
Are Bosch car batteries made in Germany?
Some are, many are not. Bosch batteries are produced in several countries and the origin differs from one size to another. The country is printed on the label, and the technician will show you the label and the production date before fitting anything.
Does Bosch make a battery for Japanese cars like Toyota or Nissan?
