My car is on an upper floor of a multi-storey car park. Can the technician reach it?
Yes. If the van fits under the entrance height bar it drives up to your floor. If not, it stays at ground level and the battery and tools go up by lift or ramp. Send the floor and the nearest pillar number so no time is lost searching.
How do I know it is the battery and not the alternator?
The technician measures the battery's voltage and its ability to deliver starting current, then checks whether the alternator is charging once the engine runs. If the battery is healthy and the charging is not, a new battery would not fix it, and you are told that plainly.
The car was slow to start this morning. Should I wait until it fails?
