The parking barrier needs a resident's card. How does the technician reach my bay?
Either you meet him at the ramp and tap him through, or the concierge opens the barrier once you have confirmed the visit. If the van is too tall for the entrance, it stays outside and the battery goes up on a trolley. The car is worked on in its own bay.
My SUV has start-stop and the system stopped working weeks ago. Is that the battery?
Often it is. Cars switch off the start-stop function when the battery's charge or health drops below what the system wants, long before the engine struggles to start. A test confirms it. These cars need an AGM battery or an EFB battery of the same type as the original, not a standard flooded one.
I am travelling and my car at The Views is dead. Can it be sorted before I land?
