Photos and inspection

Collection and respray
The car is collected and taken to the partner workshop. The panels are sanded, primed, sprayed in the matched colour and clear coated in the booth, then baked.
Polish and return
After curing, the new paint is polished and compared with the rest of the car in daylight. Then the car is delivered back to your building.
Good to know in JBR

Paint repair: common questions
Will the new paint match the rest of the car?
The workshop starts from the paint code, then adjusts the mix against your car, because the original colour shifts with years of sun. Blending into the next panel hides small differences. Metallic and pearl colours are the hardest to match, and we say so before the job starts if yours is one.
Can peeling clear coat be repaired without respraying?
No. Clear coat that has lifted has lost its bond with the colour layer underneath. Polishing it, or spraying new clear over it, will not hold. The affected panel is sanded back to a sound surface and given new base coat and clear coat.
How long does a panel respray take?
It depends on the number of panels and the colour. One or two panels are commonly a matter of a few days, including curing time. A full-car respray takes much longer. You get an expected return date before the car is collected.
